FamilySearch Digitizing
 Perry County Archives Documents
We are excited to report that FamilySearch representative, David Shipley, will soon begin digitizing documents stored in the Perry County Archives in New Lexington.  Chapter volunteers and missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have been busy sorting and preparing documents for the camera.

A BIG Thank-You!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Karen Wilson for spending numerous hours collecting pictures of Perry County, churches and schools.  We have been busy adding all of her contributions to this website.  They should prove to be very interesting to those with Perry County ancestry. We appreciate all that you do Karen!

Likewise, we thank all that have submitted material for our website and newsletter, and helped work on special projects, such as publications.  We would not be able to do the things that we do without the help and support of all our members.  We are very thankful to have such great volunteers!  Your help is greatly appreciated!

Obituary Project Continues
We thank Sue Saylor for the enormous amount of time that she puts in collecting, indexing and filing obituaries. We will keep adding them to our website. You may want to check occasionally to see if information on your ancestors has been added. Hats off to Sue for keeping this project going!
